If you
have used a Fender Cyber Twin guitar amplifier you already know it is one of
the most advanced guitar amplifiers ever made. We developed Cyber Commander
so you can effortlessly setup and control, edit and share your presets, and
get the most out of the Fender Cyber Twin amplifier.
The Cyber Twin resembles the amplifiers of yesteryear, except for a
few hints like the “Data Window” and the “Data Wheel”. These give you little
indication of what’s really under the hood, and we believe that such an
incredible amplifier was meant to be used well beyond what the Cyber Twin front panel
controls provide. It was meant to be used with a computer.
This is where the Cyber Commander software fits in. Cyber Commander
controls and displays all of the Cyber Twin’s tones and effects on one
What-You-See-Is-What-You-Hear (WYSIWYH) screen. You get instant real-time
control over the Cyber Twin and a complete picture of what the Cyber Twin is
set to, on one screen.
Cyber Commander’s built-in graphical editors give you the ability to
create, modify, store and retrieve any Single Preset, Player’s Lounge, or
MIDI Map to/from the Cyber Twin or your computer with a simple mouse point-and-click.
You no longer have to work the Cyber Twin’s knobs or struggle to remember
what was displayed on the Data Window.
Cyber Commander automatically generates readable text files of your presets
every time you save them to your computer. These text files contain all 32
parameters that define your presets in a standard Cyber Commander format.
They can also be read by any text editor, and posted on any forum. Cyber
Commander was designed so that you can easily share your favorite presets
with anyone, anytime, anyplace without ever copying down and writing up
your presets ever again.
Cyber Commander also integrates the Fender Cyber Twin Foot Controller
with the Cyber Twin through your computer. These three items comprise a
complete, real-time, guitar tone lab that is ready for live performance on
stage, studio or at home.
Finally, Cyber Commander provides you with the ability to set-up and
control a bank of Cyber Twins simultaneously. The result is a unique 3-D tone
that has to be experienced to be believed.
Two PC versions of Cyber Commander were created: Cyber Commander CT
was designed to be used with the original Fender Cyber Twin amp and Cyber
Commander SE was designed to be used with the Fender Cyber Twin SE amp.
